New York, N.Y. - Two Golden Eagles were awarded in the Skyline Conference's report for Dec. 8. 

Lady Eagle's freshman forward Andrea Iavarone (Miller Place, N.Y. / Miller Place) received Rookie of the Week after her strong performance of 11 points, nine rebounds, and a steal in SJC's close 57-52 victory over the College of New Rochelle.

Men's sophomore guard Andy Laurent (Amityville, N.Y. / Amityville) was named to this week's Honor Roll after averaging 16.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting a stellar 54% in back-to-back Skyline Conference victories over Sarah Lawrence and Mount Saint Mary.
