New York, NY| Senior Andrea Iavarone of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball team picked up a pair of weekly accolades on Monday and Tuesday, December 11 and 12.

After earning her second Skyline Conference Player of the Week honor of the season on Monday, the forward appeared on the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association's Divisions II-III Weekly Honor Roll for the fifth time in her career.

Through two games last week, Iavarone averaged 18.0 points and 20.5 rebounds-per-game as the Golden Eagles posted a 1-1 record.

In a loss to Farmingdale on December 5, the Miller Place, NY native scored a game-high 16 points and moved into third place on the SJC all-time career points list. Her 21 rebounds were also a game-best.

Iavarone went on to power the Golden Eagles to a 72-49 victory over Yeshiva University on December 9 with a 20-point, 20-rebound performance. The six-time Skyline Conference Player of the Week was also credited with four blocks, four assists and three steals.

Before play on Tuesday, Iavarone was first in the conference in rebounds-per-game (16.4) and points-per-game (18.0). The forward's seven double-doubles were also tied for fourth in the nation.
