Women's Basketball Downed by Yeshiva, 69-58

New York, NY| The St. Joseph's College women's basketball team dropped a Skyline Conference contest 69-58 to Yeshiva University Tuesday evening.

The loss moves the Golden Eagles to 2-7 on the season with a 1-2 Skyline mark. The Maccabees improve to 5-3 overall, 3-2 Skyline.

Freshman Alyssa Signor finished with a team-high 15 points with four rebounds and four steals.

Senior N'Dea Maddox dropped in 14 points with a team-best four assists. Senior Alicia Indence added eight points with three assists.

The Maccabees were led by Tehilla Teigman with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Nicole Bick knocked down 20 points and dished seven assists. Michal Alge provided a double-double of 15 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.

Both sides shot 35% from the field, but the hosts converted 66.7% of their free throws (18-for-27) while the Golden Eagles sank 42.1% (8-for-19). Despite being outrebounded 56-40, St. Joseph's held a 40-30 margin in the paint.

The Golden Eagles continue Skyline Conference play on Saturday, December 8 when they host St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn. Game time is set for 1:00 pm.
