Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week
Heather Ferchland – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Sophomore, Attack, Selden, NY/Centereach HS
Ferchland tallied 11 goals and a pair of assists on 21 shots as St. Joseph's-L.I. enjoyed a 3-0 week with victories over Manhattanville (19-5), Maritime (14-2) and Mount Saint Mary (15-8)…scored four goals on Apr. 8 versus Maritime and added three goals against Maritime on Apr. 10…notched four goals – including the game-winner – on Apr. 12 versus Mount Saint Mary…added seven draw controls, three caused turnovers and three ground balls to earn her second Player of the Week citation of the season.

Christy Thoden – Farmingdale State
Junior, Midfielder, Bayport, NY/Bayport-Blue Point HS
Thoden led FSC to three victories as she compiled three goals, eight assists, six ground balls, five caused turnovers and 37 draw controls in wins over New Paltz (22-19), Old Westbury (12-2) and Sage (18-8)…tallied one goal, four assists, three ground balls and a program-record 19 draw controls on Apr. 8 against New Paltz…recorded a game-high three assists on Apr. 12 versus Sage…tabbed the Skyline Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Rookie of the Week
Brittany Rosino – Farmingdale State
Freshman, Attack, North Babylon, NY/North Babylon HS
Rosino scored five goals and dished out six assists in a 3-0 week for Farmingdale State…added 10 ground balls, eight draw controls and three caused turnovers…compiled three goals, five ground balls, a season-high five draw controls and one assist on Apr. 8 in the Rams' 22-19 win over New Paltz…dished out a team-high three assists in a 12-2 victory against Old Westbury on Apr. 10.

Baseball Player of the Week
Anthony Alvino – Farmingdale State
Junior, SS, Lindenhurst, NY/St. Anthony's HS
Alvino collected 10 hits in 21 at-bats (.476) with eight RBI and seven runs scored in a 4-2 week for the Rams…added three triples, three walks and a pair of stolen bases…had a two-run triple on Apr. 10 as FSC downed Baruch, 11-4…went 6-for-9 with five runs scored and four RBI in the Rams' doubleheader sweep (19-6, 19-8) of NYU-Poly on Apr. 12…recorded two hits and two RBI on Apr. 13 as FSC edged Old Westbury, 6-5.

Pitchers of the Week
Adam Brant - Purchase
Sophomore, RHP, Hyde Park, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes HS
Brant tossed a two-hit gem on Apr. 13 as Purchase notched a 7-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent…walked two and struck out two as he improved to 2-3 on the year…tabbed the Skyline Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season

Steve Szobesky – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Junior, RHP, Seaford, NY/Seaford HS
Szobesky scattered three hits in a seven-inning shutout on Apr. 12 as the Golden Eagles notched an 8-0 victory against CMSV….fanned five and issued just one walk as he evened his record at 2-2 for the year.
