Kristi Carroll Named ECAC Mid-Atlantic Rookie of the Week for 5/3

Danbury, Conn. - St. Joseph's freshman women's lacrosse player Kristin Carroll (Patchogue, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) has been named the Corvias ECAC Mid-Atlantic Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the week ending May 3, 2015.

Carroll tallied a pair of goals on five shots and added a caused turnover on May 2 as St. Joseph's edged Farmingdale State, 7-5, to win its first-ever Skyline title.  The rookie also netted a pair of goals on April 29 in the Golden Eagles' 17-6 semifinal win versus Purchase.

The midfielder also won this past week's Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week award (her second time) and was named to the All-Skyline Conference Second Team.
