Gagliardi and Jones Earn All-Conference Honors

New York, NY| Freshman Christina Gagliardi and junior Katelyn Jones of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's soccer team have been selected to the All-Skyline Conference Second-Team for the 2016 season, which was announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
Gagliardi led the Golden Eagles with eight goals this season, which is the ninth-highest single-season total in St. Joseph's history. Additionally she was seventh in the conference in goals, and tallied two game winners on the season. The forward started in 14 games in her freshman campaign and was credited with three assists for a total of 19 points, putting her amongst the leaders in most points in a single season.
Jones received the first All-Skyline accolade of her career with her Second-Team selection. The junior captain started in all 19 games as a central defender and anchored the St. Joseph's College backline holding its opponents to a .131 shooting percentage. The Holbrook, NY native also contributed a goal on the year.
