Women's Soccer Blanked By Stockton

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 non-conference loss to Stockton University Thursday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles slide to 1-2 on the season and the Ospreys improve to 3-1-2.

Stockton opened the scoring in the 20th minute when SJC keeper Juliana Cintron-Leonardo mishandled the ball and Alexa Simonetti found the open net. Just over four minutes later, SU's Emily Frazee blasted in her own rebound giving the visitors a 2-0 lead.

The Golden Eagles were outshot 11-1 in the second half, 30-3 for the game and were held to just three corners.

St. Joseph's returns to action on Wednesday, September 19 when they host William Paterson. Game time is slated for 7:00 pm.
