Gagliardi Dubbed ECAC Offensive Player of the Year

Danbury, CT| Senior Christina Gagliardi of the women's soccer team has been named East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Star as announced on Wednesday.

Gagliardi earns her second Offensive Player of the Year recognition following a record-breaking season that saw the forward eclipse her own existing program records for total goals and points in a single season with tallies of 22 and 50, respectively.

The senior led the conference in total points and shared the league-lead in total goals. She was fifth in the nation in goals- (1.375) and points-per-game (3.13) and tied for sixth in total goals. The Ronkonkoma, NY native graduates as the program leader in career goals (68) as well as points (155).
