Zollo Lands on Skyline Women’s Swimming Weekly Honor Roll

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly swimming awards on Monday evening, and amongst the winners was senior Gabrielle Zollo who appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll.
The West Islip, NY native collected a pair of first-place finishes as the Golden Eagles fell to both Maritime (110-89) and Sarah Lawrence (112-88) in a Skyline Conference double-duel on Friday evening. After posting a season-best time in the 100 yard butterfly (1:08.74) the senior placed fifth in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 28:16.
In the meet's final event Zollo, along with Aileen Baker, Kim Mazza and Samantha Mullman, placed first and established a new program-best time in the 200 freestyle relay (1:51.16).
Zollo and the women's swimming team return to the pool on Friday, December 2 when they travel to SUNY Maritime to take on the Privateers and Mount St. Mary College at 6:00 PM.
