Women's Tennis Wins Fourth Straight in 8-1 Victory over SJC-Bklyn

Brooklyn, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's tennis team extended its winning streak to four games after taking down Skyline Conference foe St. Joseph's College (Brkln), 8-1, on Saturday evening.
With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 7-2 (4-1 Skyline) on the year as the Bears slide to 1-6 (0-5 Skyline)
The Golden Eagles swept the doubles matches, earning 8-0 victories in all three matchups to put SJC ahead 3-0.
Nora Burnett, along with Alana Caporale, Lindsey Charrier, and Caroline Mandaro swept their singles matches, 6-0, 6-0, to widen the Golden Eagles' advantage (7-0).
Erin Hickey won her first career singles match taking down Vanessa Munoz 6-0, 6-1 on the sixth court.
Denise Trerotola got the best of Victoria Panicola, who played her first career match in the #1 slot, taking both sets 6-3, 6-2.
The Golden Eagles return to action tomorrow when they take on the College of Staten Island at the Danzi Tennis Courts at 12 PM.
