The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's tennis team toppled Yeshiva University, 8-1, in a Skyline Conference contest Thursday evening.

- Angela Avecillas Martinez, Lorraine Podlesny, Madison DiPalo, Haley Celona, and Victoria Corcoran all won both their singles and doubles matches
- Avecillas Martinez and Podlesny won 8-3 at first doubles before picking up 6-2, 6-3 and 6-4, 6-2 wins at first and second singles, respectively
How it happened
- SJNY swept doubles play, 3-0. DiPalo and Celona won 8-5 at second doubles and Corcoran and Joan Dabalsky were 8-1 victors at third doubles
- The Golden Eagles won singles one through five. Corcoran was a dominant 6-2, 6-0 winner at fifth singles

- DiPalo won the first set of ther third singles match, 6-3, before her opponent retired
- Corcoran's third doubles and fifth singles wins were the first of her career
