Brittany Guttieri Wins SJC's First NJAC Track Award

Guttieri becomes the first Golden Eagle student-athlete to ever earn an NJAC weekly award, claiming NJAC Women's Indoor Rookie of the Week honors after traveling to New York City to compete at the NYC Gotham Cup contested at the New York Armory. She placed 20th in a field of 49 competitors in the mile run with a school-record time of 5:31.73. She also placed 41st in the 800 meters with a time of 2:34.50. The performance by Guttieri in the mile run shattered the St. Joseph's-Long Island program-record by 14 seconds.
