Indoor Track Competes at Ramapo College Indoor Select

New York, NY| The St. Joseph's (L.I.) men's and women's indoor track and field teams returned to action Saturday morning at the Ramapo College Indoor Select, hosted by Ramapo College at the New Balance Track & Field Center

Ashley Arquer broke her own 60-meter dash record with a 8.08 finish which was good enough for seventh place. Megan Lavery clocked in with a seventh-place finish (21:02.90) in the 5,000 meter run.

Jessica Pierno broke another school record, previously set by herself, in the triple jump leaping a distance of 10.08 meters.

For the men, Brian Frejka and Mike O'Shea both ran the 200-meter dash, posting times of 23.84 and 24.21, respectively.

Both Frejka and O'Shea would join Tim Elgort and Daniel Antonawich in the 4x400 meter relay and finished with a 3:40.01 time.

The Golden Eagles are back at it on Saturday (Feb. 6), when they run at the DeShriver Invitational in East Stroudsburg, PA. The start of the meet is to be determined.
