Nine Track & Field Athletes Named to NJAC All-Academic Team
Pitman, N.J. - A record total of 720 student-athletes have been named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for the 2012-13 academic year. To be eligible for the squad, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior who has competed in a conference-sponsored sport while achieving a minimum grade point average of 3.20. First and second-team selections were made by each of the league's 10 full-member institutions. For the first time in conference history, the NJAC All-Academic Team was expanded to include student-athletes from affiliate member programs who met the qualifications for the squad.
