Women's Volleyball Players of the Week
Melissa Garibaldi – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Sophomore, OPP, Seaford, NY/Island Trees HS
Garibaldi averaged 3.36 kills and 2.29 digs over 14 sets with nine service aces, eight assists and four blocks as St. Joseph's-L.I. won all four of its matches on the week…had a game-high 16 kills in a 3-2 win over William Paterson on Sept. 25…had 14 kills, four assists and 4 blocks in a 3-1 victory versus USMMA-Kings Point on Sept. 26…registered a game-high 15 kills and five aces on Sept. 29 in a 3-1 win over Manhattanville.
Mary Ann Raftery – Mount Saint Mary
Senior, Outside Hitter, Long Beach, NY/St. John the Baptist HS
Raftery averaged 3.78 kills and 3.33 digs over nine sets as MSMC posted wins over King's (3-0) and Rutgers-Newark (3-0) and fell to Montclair State (3-0)…registered a match-high 14 kills and hit .440 against King's on Sept. 29…named the Skyline Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Alyssa Niquette – NYU-Poly
Freshman, Setter, Lake Havasu, AZ/Lake Havasu HS
Niquette averaged 7.5 assists and 2.19 digs with a .318 attacking percentage over five matches…notched 21 assists and 11 digs versus New York University on Sept. 26 and amassed 42 assists against Baruch on Sept. 29…also averaged 0.56 kills and 0.48 service aces per set.

Stephanie Maybie – Old Westbury
Sophomore, Forward, Massapequa, NY/Plainedge HS
Maybie amassed 10 points on four goals and two assists over three matches while registering 18 shots…notched her fifth career game-winning goal on Sept. 24 in the Panthers' 5-0 win over York (NY)…tallied a pair of goals on Sept. 29 as Old Westbury earned a 4-2 victory over Sage…added a goal on Sept. 26 in a 3-2 (OT) loss to Manhattanville.
Women's Soccer Rookies of the Week
Marykate McGee - Purchase
Freshman, Forward, East Rockaway, NY/Sacred Heart Academy
McGee notched three goals in a pair of Purchase victories over Maritime (5-0) and CCNY (2-1)…tallied a pair of goals, including the game-winner, on Sept. 28 versus Maritime and scored the first goal of the match against CCNY on Sept. 30.
Shanice Robe – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Forward, Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream Central HS
Robe scored the lone goal of the match on Sept. 29 as the Knights edged St. Joseph's-L.I., 1-0…added her league-best sixth game-winning goal on Sept. 24 in a 6-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent…compiled 21 shots over three contests and leads the league in goals with 12…tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the third time.

Blaise Bourgeois - Purchase
Junior, Forward, Rochester, NY/Irondequoit HS
Bourgeois tallied a hat trick in his lone match of the week as Purchase earned a 4-1 win over Maritime on Sept. 28…marked his second game-winner of the season…now has seven goals on the year.
Scott Jarosz – The Sage Colleges
Junior, Forward, Brunswick, ME/Brunswick HS
Jarosz amassed five goals on 14 shots as Sage improved to 4-0 in league action with wins over Maritime (3-1) and Old Westbury (7-0)…had a hat trick versus the Panthers…his 14 goals this season are a program single-season record…is the Gators' all-time leader in goals (23) and points (47).
Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week
J.T. Famularo – Farmingdale State
Freshman, Midfielder, Levittown, NY/Island Trees HS
Famularo scored a pair of goals on five shots as Farmingdale State remained undefeated in league play with wins over Mount Saint Vincent (7-0) and St. Joseph's-L.I. (3-0)…notched the game-winning tally versus SJC…marked his second game-winning goal of the season.

Alex Bentz – Farmingdale State
Sophomore, Massapequa Park, NY/Massapequa HS
Bentz posted a 2-0 mark at No. 2 singles and won a pair of matches at No. 2 doubles as Farmingdale State edged Sage, 5-4, and turned aside CCNY, 9-0...recorded a 6-4, 6-2 win versus Sage and a 6-3, 6-1 win against CCNY.

Morgan Holbrook – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Montgomery, NY/Valley Central HS
Holbrook earns her third Skyline Rookie of the Week honor after posting a 4-0 mark at second singles and No. 2 doubles as the Knights notched wins over St. Joseph's-L.I. (6-3) and Baptist Bible (9-0)...notched a 6-3, 6-2 win versus SJC and a 6-0, 6-0 victory against Baptist Bible…remains unbeaten in singles and doubles on the year.
Men's Cross Country Runner/Rookie of the Week
Cameron Coneys – Maritime
Freshman, Centerport, NY/Harborfields HS
Coneys finished second overall at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational on Sept. 29 in a field of 152 runners with a time of 28:23, just six seconds behind the overall winner…Maritime placed fourth in the 16-team field…tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the fourth time and earns his third Runner of the Week citation.

Katherine Henri - Purchase
Freshman, Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame Academy
Henri captured her fourth individual title of the 2012 season as she placed first overall at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational on Sept. 29 with a time of 20:51…field consisted of 136 competitors…Purchase placed fifth out of 15 teams…tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the fourth time and named the Runner of the Week for the second consecutive week.
