By the afternoon the Lady Eagles were awake and ready to play, refusing to give the visiting Green Mountain team a chance to take a breath.  Keeping their errors to a minimum and slamming down a total of 28 kills as a team, SJC took this match with ease winning three quick sets in a row.

Kiersten Richenberg (Byron, N.Y./ Byron-Bergen) logged 20 assists for this match while Tiffany Willms (Centereach, N.Y./ Centereach) and Anne Marie Taggart (Wading River, N.Y./ Shoreham) had six kills each; Willms also expertly shot five service aces across the court.

The Lady Golden Eagles will travel to the Bronx for a 7 p.m. match against the Lehman College Lightning on Tuesday.
