Heather Ferchland Named ECAC Metro Player of the Week

In a 4-0 weekend, including three of the top six teams ranked in the NY Region, Liang hit .462 (40-4-78), averaging 3.08 kills per set. She also totaled 11 blocks (0.85 per set), 11 digs (0.85 per set) and four assists.
Heather Ferchland – St. Joseph's College (LI)
Sophomore, Middle Hitter, Selden, NY
Ferchland averaged 3.38 kills over 14 sets with a .477 attacking percentage in a 2-1 week as St. Joseph's-L.I. secured the No. 2 seed in this week's Skyline Championship. She registered 21 kills on Nov. 2 in the Golden Eagles' 3-1 win versus NJCU and compiled a game-high nine kills in a 3-0 win over Yeshiva on Oct. 30 and added nine digs, and three aces. She was also named to the NJCU All-Tournament Team.
