Senior Erin Kelly led all participants with a season-best 12 kills in a match that saw Long Island generate 47 kills to Brooklyn's 20. Freshman Jessica Nicholson pitched in with a career-high 11 kills and junior Morgan Tiska contributed nine.

Junior Jessica Monteserrato also set a career-high with 32 assists, while senior Courtney Wickline collected a game-high 20 digs. Nicholson's six service aces were also a game-best.

Much like the first match, SJC breezed through the first two sets of their match with Purchase, with 25-7 and 25-9 victories, before finding greater resistance in the third frame. The Panthers jumped out to a 11-5 lead early in the frame but this time around the Golden Eagles rallied to earn a 25-22 come-from-behind win to sweep the match.

Tiska went for 13 kills on 19 attacking attempts for a .526 hitting percentage in the contest. Kelly contributed eight kills of her own and served up a career-high nine of SJC's 24 service aces. Junior Keilly Estacuy and senior Brianna Wolf were credited with four and five aces, respectively.

Monteserrato's 16 assists were a game-high.

The Golden Eagles return to action tomorrow, Sunday, October 23 when they face SUNY Old Westbury in a Skyline Conference showdown on the road at 11:00 AM. Live stats for the match will be available here.
