Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's volleyball team—led by Tobey Pantophlet, who enters his 13th season with the program—unveiled its schedule for the 2017 regular season on Friday afternoon and is set to open the campaign with matches vs. Moravian and FDU-Florham on the campus of Moravian on Saturday, September 9.

The Golden Eagles' home opener is scheduled for two days later when they welcome City College to the Danzi Center for a 7:00 pm contest. At the following weekend, SJC will participate in the Roadrunner Invitational at Ramapo College and will play a combined four matches on September 15 and 16.

St. Joseph's, which finished third in the Skyline Conference standings last season, opens conference play on Tuesday, September 26 when they visit the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy for a 7:00 pm contest. The tilt is a rematch of last year's conference semifinal match-up in which the Mariners topped SJC 3-1.

From October 20 to October 24, the Golden Eagles will play six-straight home games; a stretch capped off with a Senior Day match vs. Albertus Magnus at 7:00 pm on the 24th.

SJC's final matches of the regular season take place on Saturday, October 28 when the Golden Eagles face Mt. St. Mary and Sarah Lawrence on the campus of the Gryphons at 1:00 and 3:00 pm, respectively.

Six teams will qualify for the Skyline Conference Championship in 2017 with the first round of matches—featuring #3 vs. #6 and #4 vs. #5—being played on Tuesday, October 31. The top two seeds open play in the tournament in the semifinal round vs. the winners of the two first round games on Thursday, November 2, and the conference finals are slated for Saturday, November 4. All games are played on the campuses of the higher seed.
