New York, N.Y. – The Skyline Conference recognized four St. Joseph's College Golden Eagles in their Skyline Report for October 20; one Eagle was awarded Runner of the Week and three Eagles were listed on the Honor Roll.

The following Golden Eagles have been honored:

SJC's senior AnnMarie Zigrosser (Bayport, N.Y. / St. John's the Baptist) won Runner of the Week for the women's cross country team after finishing third overall at the St. Joseph's Invitational in a time of 20:50.9 on Oct. 18.  Zigrosser's time helped lead her team as the Golden Eagles placed first at the Invitational. This is Zigrosser's fourth time winning Skyline Runner of the Week.

Junior Katie Scharrenbroich (Stony Brook, N.Y. / Ward Melville) from SJC's women's cross country team recived Honor Roll mentions after she placed fifth overall (21:08.00) at St. Joseph's College Invitational on Oct. 18.

Senior Brian Wersan (Holbrook, N.Y. / Sachem North) on the men's cross country team was listed on the Honor Roll after finishing ninth overall in the SJC Invitational. Wersan recorded a time of 28:10, which broke his own program record fastest time on the Sunken Meadow course.

Junior midfielder Megan Leun (Hauppauge, N.Y. / Hauppauge) made the Honor Roll after recording a hat trick for the Lady Eagles soccer team on Oct. 18. Her performance helped lift her team to a Golden Eagle 8-0 victory over Sarah Lawrence.
