Men’s XC Finishes 1st, Women 4th at Bard Invitational

Annadale-on-Hudson, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's and women's cross country teams earned first and fourth-place finishes, respectively, at the annual Bard Invitational in Annadale-on-Hudson, NY on Saturday morning.

The men were led by sophomore Ryan Haun (26:50), who turned in a second-place finish in the 8k race. Close behind was junior James Dachille (26:57) who placed fourth.

Rounding out the top five for the men were Tim Monahan (27:19), Nick DeLuca (28:50) and Brad Danielsen (30:46), who finished seventh, 25th and 55th, respectively.

The top finisher on the women's side was junior Erin MacDonell (19:35), who posted a career-best 5k time and took seventh place. Second best was senior Kelly Roberts, who turned in a 12th place finish with a time of 19:47.

Abigail Lehr (20:52), Cassie Costarelli (21:12) and Jessica Pierno (21:42) finished in 27th, 33rd and 42nd, respectively.
