Cross Country Wraps Season at NCAA Atlantic Regionals

Logan Township, NJ| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's and men's cross country teams wrapped their 2018 seasons with 31st- and 34th-place finishes at the NCAA DIvision III Regional Championships at Dream Park on Saturday afternoon.

The women's team totaled 935 points in the 6k race and were led by sophomore Meagan Haviland, who finished in 131st place with a time of 25:25.1.

Freshman Sandra Vivar Marine posted a time of 26:14.7 and took 175th place, and sophomore Cassidy Jacobus finished in 198th with a time of 26:45.8.

The men collected 1,019 points and were paced by senior Ryan Haun, who earned a 180th-place finish after posting a time of 29:30.3.

Junior Nick Deluca (29:38.1) and freshman Dennis O'Rourke (29:42.7) took 187th and 191st places, respectively.

SUNY Geneseo (28 points) claimed the team championship on the women's side, and RPI (26 points) claimed the men's championship.
