Ewing, NJ. … The College of New Jersey outdoor track and field program will host the Lions' Invitational on Friday afternoon and Saturday on campus at TCNJ's Track and Field Complex. Student-athletes from more than 30 programs are expected to compete at the annual meet.
Friday will include the men's and women's hammer throw followed by the javelin event. The hammer will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the javelin slated for 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, running events will start at 9:45 a.m. with the 5000-meter race. The field events on Saturday begin with the shot put at 10:30 a.m. The final event of the day -- the 4x400m relay-- is scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.
Final results will sent out to competing schools when they available following the completion of all events. They will also be posted on TCNJ's athletics website.
