Baseball's Lynn Named 4/20 Skyline Player of the Week

New York, N.Y. – Junior baseball player Joseph Lynn (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) has been named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week in the league's weekly report released for April 20. 

The Golden Eagle outfielder collected 13 hits in 23 at-bats (.565) with nine runs scored, eight stolen bases and six RBI over six games.  He went 6-for-7 with two RBI and had a pair of runs scored on Apr. 18 against Mount Saint Mary and had four RBI on Apr. 19 in two wins over Mount Saint Vincent.

Making the honor roll from the baseball team was sophomore pitcher Josh Outsen (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Copiague).  He scattered a pair of hits over seven innings on Apr. 19 in St. Joseph's 11-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent.

Women's lacrosse senior midfielder Ela Igdeler (Islip, N.Y./Islip), was also named to the honor roll as she scored eight goals and dished out six assists while adding 15 draw controls in a 2-1 week for the Golden Eagles.
