Alec Tabada Named Skyline Rookie of the Week

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners was freshman Alec Tabada, who was named Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week. Additionally, senior Alyssa Signro appeared on the Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.

Alec Tabada (Fr.) - Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Tabada scored a team-high 17 points on 7-for-14 shooting from the field in a 73-71 win over John Jay in the Danzi Center on December 8. The forward also pitched in with nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Tabada is Rookie of the Week for the first time and becomes the third different Golden Eagle to claim the honor this season.

Alyssa Signor (Sr.) - Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Signor averaged 17.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.3 steals-per-game through three contests last week (SJC 2-1). The senior tallied 22 points and 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season in a win at Baruch on December 11. In a loss at Mt. St. Mary on December 9, the forward went for 17 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists.
