Men's and Women's Soccer Schedules Released
Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) Athletics department released its men's and women's soccer schedules for the 2015 season on Tuesday afternoon. The women will kick off the 2015 campaign at William Patterson on Wednesday, September 2, and the men will play the first home match of the season on Wednesday, September 9 against Kean at 7:00 PM.
Skyline Conference action begins for the women—who play their first five matches of the season on the road—away to Yeshiva on Tuesday, September 8, while the men open their conference account at home to Sage on Saturday, September 19.
The women—who play their home-opener against Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, September 12—will look for revenge when they face Farmingdale State, the side that topped them 6-0 in the Skyline Tournament semifinal last season, on the road on Tuesday, October 13.
The men, too, will look to avenge their 2-1 double-overtime defeat at the hands of Purchase State in the Skyline Tournament final last season when they host the Panthers for an afternoon affair on Saturday, October 3.
Both sides will wrap up their regular seasons with home matches against Old Westbury, with the women hosting the Panthers on Tuesday, October 27 and the men the following evening on Wednesday, October 28. The games— which will both be preceded by Senior Night ceremonies—will begin at 7:00 PM.
The Skyline Tournaments will begin the following Saturday on October 31 and run until the following Saturday, November 7.
