Flaherty, Duda and Ruiz Land on Skyline All-Conference Teams

New York, NY| Junior Tyler Flaherty appeared on the First-Team and senior forwards Damian Duda and Rayneri Ruiz graced the Second-Team when the Skyline Conference announced its end-of-season men's soccer awards on Monday morning.

Flaherty started in 12 of his 13 appearances and posted a 1-9-2 overall record as well as a 2.45 goals-against average in between the pipes for SJC this season. His 81 saves were good for sixth in the conference and he finished second in saves-per-game with 6.23.

Ruiz and Duda combined for all but two of SJC's 19 goals in 2019 with the former leading the team and finishing tied for third in the conference with 12. Ruiz led the conference in goals-per-game (.750) and was second with 1.75 points-per-game (28 in 16 GP). The Brentwood, NY native was the Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Year last season.

Duda appears on the Second-Team for the third-straight season and finished second on the team in goals (5) and total points (14). The forward tied Ruiz for the team lead in assists (4).

Junior midfielder Alex Tarach was SJC's representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
