Milton, NY| Junior Erin MacDonell placed second and sophomore Ryan Haun took seventh as the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's and men's cross country teams earned sixth-place finishes at the ECAC Championships at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, NY on Saturday afternoon.

For the men it was their best performance in program history at the annual event, and for the women it was the second best (5th in 2012).

MacDonell, the current Skyline Conference individual champion, turned in a 25:02.6 performance and, along with senior Kelly Roberts (17th, 26:.08.3), earned All-ECAC honors. In a field of 100 runners, the top 25 received All-ECAC accolades and MacDonell and Roberts became the third a fourth runners in program history to earn such honors.

Fresh off a second-place finish at the Skyline Championships last weekend, the trio of Haun (27:38.4), freshman Tim Monahan (27:53.3) and junior James Dachille (28:16.8) earned 7th, 13th and 16th place finishes, respectively, in a field of 113 runners. The three become the third, fourth and fifth runners in program history to earn All-ECAC recognition.

Stevens Institute was crowned champion on the women's side in a field of 14, and NYU was men's champion in a field of 18.

The teams wrap up their 2016 season next Saturday, November 12 when they participate at NCAA Regionals at Rowan University (Glassboro, NJ).
