Women’s Basketball Selected Seventh in Skyline Preseason Poll

New York, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball team finished seventh in the Skyline Conference Coaches' Preseason Poll, which was released on the conference website on Tuesday morning.
After a season in which head coach Kelley Watts took over the reins at St. Joseph's College the seasoned coach leads a side that returns six players, including All-Skyline First-Team selection Andrea Iavarone.
Sage, who captured the regular-season title last season, was chosen to finish first, collecting 74 points and five first-place votes. The defending champions SUNY Old Westbury slotted in at #2 with 72 points and three first place votes. Mount St. Vincent and Farmingdale State both tallied a first place vote as well, to finish in third and fourth respectively.
