Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College women's basketball team was handed a 61-46 Skyline Conference defeat by the College of Mt. St. Vincent in the Danzi Center on Tuesday evening.

The Golden Eagles slide to 1-6 on the year and 0-4 in Skyline action as the Dolphins improve to 4-2 overall, 2-1 Skyline.

Sophomore Alyssa Signor also finished with 15 points while pulling down seven boards. Freshman Emma Lange rounded out the top scorers with eight points.

The Dolphins were led by a 15-point performance from DarNeisha Brice. Leah Pinilli and Aria Rheams finished in double digits with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

SJC never led in the contest and trailed by nine at halftime. The Golden Eagles pulled to within four, 36-32, with just over four minutes left in the third, but that would be as close as they would get at the Dolphins held on for the 61-46 win.
