Women's Basketball Downed by Bears on Saturday

Brooklyn, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball team suffered a 82-66 Skyline Conference loss to St. Joseph's College (Bklyn) on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles fall to 8-15 on the season and 6-12 in Skyline play. The Bears improve to 14-9 overall, 12-6 Skyline.

Freshman Alyssa Adomaites paced SJCLI with 29 points on 4 -for-9 shooting from the field while going 18-20 at the free throw line. 

Megan Steinman pitched in with 10 points on the day and Julianna Knice rounded out the top scorers with nine points and two assists. 

Kelly O'Donnell led the Bears with a double-double of 24 points with 13 rebounds. Emma Kiley added a double-double of 19 points and 14 boards.

The Bears outshot the Golden Eagles 39.7% to 28.8% with a 38-14 advantage in the paint.

The Golden Eagles return to the Danzi Center on Tuesday February, 18 when they host Farmingdale State at 5:30 pm.
