Bio

Geoff Cassell was elevated to head coach of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's lacrosse team ahead of the 2020 season. Cassell served as an assistant coach under head coach Kristen Znaniecki for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Before arriving at SJC, Cassell spent eight years with Huntington Village Lacrosse where he served on the Board of Directors and coached the girls program. 

From 2013 to 2018, he was a girls coach for Team Elevate Lacrosse Club in Cold Spring Harbor, and he was an assistant coach of the Holy Trinity High School girls team in 2017. 

A swimmer in college, Cassell swam at the University of North Carolina where he qualified for the NCAA Division I Championships three times. He went on to serve as an assistant coach for the women's and men's swimming teams during the 1985-86 season.
