Brooklyn, NY|  Christina Gagliardi scored twice as the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's soccer team topped St. Joseph's College (Brkln) 4-0 at Aviator Sports in Brooklyn on Thursday evening. With the victory, the Golden Eagles improve to 4-7-1, while the Bears fall to 1-8.

In a first half that saw the guests outshoot the hosts 30-0, the Golden Eagles notched the first goal of the match, when Mackenzie Nyitray, streaking down the right, opened the scoring in the 2nd minute. Just over 17 minutes later, senior Katie Condron played a searching ball to Gagliardi, who banged home to double the lead 2-0.  Gagliardi wasted no time, scoring again, three minutes later for her seventh goal of the season to give the Golden Eagles the 3-0 lead before heading into halftime.

SJC-LI keeper Juliana Cintron-Leonardo did not have to make a save in the first, while her counterpart, Kristen Candelaria, made 12.

The game's final goal would come in the 80th minute, when Katelyn Jones played a rebounded shot for the left-footed finish.
The Golden Eagles maintained the advantage in shots by an 44-0 margin. Cintron-Leonardo did not record a save while Candelaria finished the match with 18 saves, while SJC-LI was credited with eight corners.
