Women's Volleyball Wraps Up Skyline Schedule with Loss to Manhattanville

Purchase, NY| The St. Joseph's College women's volleyball team fell 3-0 in the final conference match to Manhattanville College on Thursday night.

The Golden Eagles slide to 15-12 on the season with a 7-3 Skyline Conference mark. The Valiants improve to 22-5 overall, 11-0 Skyline.

Manhattanville took 25-13, 25-22 and 25-16 wins in straight sets to complete the sweep.

Juniors Jessica Young and Kaitlin Williams led St. Joseph's with seven kills apiece on the night. 

Setter Bionna Silva dished 16 assists with libero Danielle Senecal and freshman Kayla Martin finishing with seven digs each.

Manhattanville was paced by Austen Brauer with 13 kills. Setter Vianca Vital finished with a double-double of 28 assists and 14 digs with Geena Tores scooping 12 digs.

The Golden Eagles finish regular-season action when they travel to Eastern Connecticut State for a non-conference tri-match. SJC will face Plymouth St. at 2:00 pm before taking on the Warriors at 4:00 pm.
