Brust, Decoursey Earn Skyline Weekly Honors

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Wednesday morning, and amongst the winners were Andrew Brust of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's lacrosse team and Ryan Decoursey of the baseball team.

Additionally, Lindsey McKenna (softball), Tori Staker (women's lacrosse), Tim McCann (men's lacrosse), and Mackenzie Martocci (women's tennis) earned weekly Honor Roll honors.

Andrew Brust (Jr.) - Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
In the men's lacrosse team's sole contest last week, an 8-4 win at Manhattanville on April 23, Brust made 14 saves on 18 shots for a .778 save percentage. The junior has posted double-digit save totals in four games this year and is second in the conference with a .658 save percentage.
 
Ryan Decoursey (So.) - Baseball Player of the Week
Decoursey led the Golden Eagles in a 2-1 week with an 8-for-11 performance while hitting at a .727 clip. The sophomore recorded three doubles boosting his slugging percentage to 1.000 while recording four RBIs and four runs scored. 
 
Tori Staker (Sr.) - Women Lacrosse Honor Roll
Staker led the Golden Eagles in a 2-0 week with 12 points on 10 goals and two assists. The midfielder also had a team-best 18 draw controls with eight groundballs and two caused turnovers. She had seven points (5g, 2a) with seven ground ball and 12 draw controls in a 16-12 win over Mt. St. Mary College.
 
Lindsey McKenna (Sr.) - Softball Weekly Honor Roll
McKenna hit .750 with eight RBIs, 4 runs, and two triples in SJC's three-game sweep of Old Westbury last week. In an 18-4 win on April 26, the third baseman went 4-for-4 with six RBIs and two triples. The senior appears on the Weekly Honor Roll for the first time in her career.
 
Tim McCann (Jr.) - Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
McCann tallied three goals--including the game-winner--and one assist for four points in SJC's 8-4 win at Manhattanville on April 23. An Honor Roll selection for the first time in his career, McCann is currently second on the team in both goals (17) and points (19).
 
Mackenzie Martocci (Sr.) - Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll
Martocci posted a 3-1 overall record across singles and doubles play last week as the Golden Eagles extended their undefeated season with two wins over Sarah Lawrence and Purchase. In an 8-1 win over the Gryphons on April 22, the senior won 8-4 and first doubles and 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.
