Men's Golf Competes at MSMC Invitational

Newburgh, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team turned in a fourth-place finish at the Mount St. Mary Fall Invitational at The Powelton Club on Friday afternoon.

SJC totaled 352 points, 44 points off first-place Farmingdale. Manhattanville (315) and Mount St. Mary (318) rounded out the top three.

Daniel Deckert, Patrick Diecidue, and Ryan Kayton led the Golden Eagles with scores of 87, 17 strokes over par, and finished tied for 17th place. 

Gavin Melandro (+21) tied for 22nd with a 91, and Conor Conone (+27) finished 28th with a score of 97.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Sunday, October 17 for the Skyline Conference Championships at Bethpage State Park.
