Men’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Skyline Championship

Farmingdale, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team finished sixth in a field of eight teams at the 2021 Skyline Conference Championship at Bethpage Blue. The two-day event spanned Sunday into Monday.

SJC shot 352 in round one and 356 in round two for a total team score of 708. Farmingdale State (632) edged Manhattanville (645) for the title.

Gavin Melandro and Ryan Kayton finished tied for 18th with total scores of 171, 27 strokes over par.

Patrick Diecidue (+38) took 30th place with a two-day score of 182, while Conor Conzone and Daniel Deckert finished tied for 35th (191, +47).

Farmingdale's Christopher Iguchi (151) won the individual title, edging Manhattanville's Ryan Moran by one stroke. 

The Golden Eagles return to action on Friday, October 22, when they host the St. Joseph's Invitational at Bellport Golf Club. Tee off is scheduled for 12:30 pm.
