Men's Golf Finishes 7th at Thread City Invitational

North Windham, CT| The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) men's golf team tied for seventh in a field of 13 competing teams at the Thread City Invitational hosted by Eastern Connecticut State University at The Windham Club on Sunday afternoon.

SJLI's team score of 345 was tied with Worcester State and 47 strokes off of first-place Eastern Connecticut.

Gavin Melandro led the Golden Eagles with a score of 81 and tied for 13th place overall.

Pat Diecidue shot an 84 (T22) and Ryan Kayton placed 28th with a score of 86.

Jonathan Eckert (94) and Joe Clarking (96) rounded out the SJLI top five in 52nd and 54th places, respectively.
