James Dacos Lands on Skyline All-Conference Second-Team
New York, NY| Sophomore James Dacos of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's soccer team appeared on the Skyline All-Conference Second-Team when end-of-season awards were released on Monday morning.
The midfielder started in all 14 appearances this season and led SJC in assists (6) and was tied for second overall in the conference.
Additionally, Dacos led the Golden Eagles in both shots (30) and shots on goal (17).
Dacos was key to SJC ending the 2021 season with consecutive victories having assisted on the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Old Westbury and notching a pair of helpers in a 4-1 victory over Yeshiva on the final day of the campaign.
The men's soccer team went 5-8-1 overall and 4-6-1 in conference play, narrowly missing out on a playoff berth.
