Men’s Tennis Downed by Lehman on Saturday
Bronx, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team slipped to 0-2 on the year following a 7-2 loss on the road to Lehman College on Saturday afternoon.
SJC dropped all three doubles matches, but with an 8-5 defeat sophomore Damian Duda and freshman Dylan Trude fared best at third doubles.
St. Joseph's two victories on the afternoon both came in dramatic three-set fashion in the singles competitions. Freshman Ryan Feeley earned a 1-6, 6-3, 10-5 victory at third singles, while Trude took a 2-6, 6-1, 10-8 win at sixth singles.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Thursday, April 5 when they host Skyline Conference rival SUNY Purchase at 5:00 pm.
