Men’s Tennis Downed at Mt. St. Mary
Newburgh, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to Skyline Conference rival Mount St. Mary College on Saturday afternoon.
The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 0-4 (0-3 Skyline) on the year as the Knights improve to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in Skyline play.
Sophomore Damian Duda and freshman Dylan Trude fared best for SJC in the doubles competition having taken an 8-3 defeat at third doubles.
Trude's 6-3, 6-1 loss at sixth singles was St. Joseph's best performance in the singles competition.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, April 11 when they host Sarah Lawrence College for a Skyline Conference showdown at 5:00 pm.
