Men's Tennis Topped by Farmingdale on Senior Day

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to Farmingdale State in a Skyline Conference affair on Friday afternoon.

The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 2-7 on the year and 2-5 in conference play as the Dolphins improve to 4-8 (4-2 Skyline).

Sophomore Damian Duda and freshman Dylan Trude fared best for SJC in the doubles competition having taken an 8-6 defeat at third doubles.

Duda's 6-4, 3-6, 6-10 loss at fifth singles was St. Joseph's best performance in the singles competition. Freeley dropped a 4-6, 4-6 decision at third singles.

The Golden Eagles wrap up their 2018 season with a non-conference showdown at Bard College on Sunday, April 29 at 2:00 pm.
