Men's Tennis Defeated by Farmingdale on Tuesday

Farmingdale, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team was defeated 9-0 by Farmingdale State on Tuesday afternoon.

The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 0-2 overall and in Skyline Conference play on the year as the Rams improve to 1-0.

In doubles play, the first doubles pairing of senior Ryan Freeley and junior William Vita fared best with an 8-1 defeat.

Freeley also notched a game victory in a 6-0, 6-1 loss at first singles. Freshman Tyler Brock also won a game--at fifth singles--but was defeated 6-1, 6-0.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Sunday, April 11 when they host the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy for a Skyline Conference match at 12:00 pm. On-site spectators are strictly prohibited.
