Men's Tennis Drops Skyline Contest to Farmingdale

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 Skyline Conference decision to Farmindale State at home on Saturday afternoon.

The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in Skyline play as the Rams improve to 2-2 and 1-0.

Farmingdale went 3-0 in doubles play and SJC's first doubles duo of William Vita and Cory Stengel fared best in an 8-1 defeat.

Dylan Trude capture three games in a 2-6, 1-6 loss at third singles, while Stengel (0-6, 2-6) and Angelina DeMonte (1-6, 1-6) won two games apiece at second and sixth singles, respectively.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Tuesday, March 5, when they visit Merchant Marine Academy for a Skyline Conference match at 4:00 pm.
