Baruch Tops Men's Tennis on Thursday
Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's tennis team was defeated, 9-0, by Baruch College in a non-conference contest at the SJC Outdoor Field Complex on Thursday evening.
The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 1-8 overall on the year as the Bearcats improve to 7-3.
Baruch secured 8-0 wins in all three doubles competition and carried a 3-0 advantage into single play.
Tyler Brock fared best for SJC in singles action in a 1-6, 1-6 loss at fifth singles.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, April 23, when they visit Mt. St. Mary College of a Skyline Conference contest at 1:00 pm.
