Men's Volleyball Takes Down Ramapo, 3-0

Patchogue, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) remain undefeated in Skyline Conference play with a 3-0 sweep of Ramapo College in the Danzi Center on Tuesday evening.

The Golden Eagles improve to 21-3 on the season with an 11-0 conference mark. The Roadrunners fall to 12-11 overall, 8-3 Skyline.

The Golden Eagles held off Ramapo for four set points in the opening frame, but a couple of errors late for the Roadrunners proved costly as SJC took the set 28-26. St. Joseph's jumped to an early 5-0 lead in the second game, however, the visitors chipped away to tie the score at nine. A back-and-forth battle followed before a kill from SJC's Mark Jensen secured the 25-23 win. The Roadrunners appeared to lose some steam midway through the third set allowing the Golden Eagles to cruise to a 25-15 win.

As a team, the Golden Eagles hit .337 on the night while holding the Roadrunners to just .196. SJC also held a 40-28 edge in digs.
