New York, NY| Graduate Student Paul Curaro was named Player of the Year with classmate Mark Jensen garnering Rookie of the Year honors and head coach Bill Kropp was named Co-Coach of the Year when the Skyline Conference released its end-of-season men's volleyball awards on Monday morning.

In addition, sophomore Clint Johnson and senior Quinn Foglia landed on the Second-Team. Graduate Student Jason Siriban was an All-Sportsmanship Team selection.

Curaro, an All-Conference honoree for the fifth time in his career, earned Player of the Year honors on the back of his most impressive season for the Golden Eagles. The outside hitter led the team in total kills (323) and kills-per-set (3.71) and was fourth in hitting percentage (.310). The Holbrook, NY native led the Skyline and is fifth nationally in aces (75) and aces per set (0.86). This season, he broke his own SJC single-season kills and aces record.

Kropp earns his third Coach of the Year recognition after leading the Golden Eagles to a perfect 13-0 Skyline Conference record and the program's third conference championship.

Johnson was the Skyline's top setter and is currently 12th in the nation with a 9.57 assists-per-set average. The sophomore tossed 50+ assists on three occasions this season matching his career-best of 54 against NYU. The setter has recorded 88 digs, 34 kills, 33 aces, and 27 blocks and was named the Skyline Championship Most Outstanding Player.

An All-Conference selection in 2021, Foglia landed on the Second-Team in 2022 having led the Golden Eagles and the Skyline with a .413 hitting percentage. The middle hitter has been a force at the net recording 73 total blocks while averaging 0.97 blocks per set.
