The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's volleyball claimed another Skyline Conference win with a 3-0 sweep at St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon. 

Top Performers

• Freshman Mike Golaszeki paced the Golden Eagles with seven kills on 11 attempts with two assists and two blocks

• Sophomore Logan Meyer contributed six kills while adding three digs and one block 

• Senior middle Quinn Foglia was converted on six of his eight attempts 

• Freshman Dominic Ruggiero provided SJLI with a game-high 21 assists and six digs

• Graduate Jason Siriban pitched in with five kills on five attempts

How it happened

• The Golden Eagles used their best hitting percentage of the day, .652, led by a six-kill performance from Foglia to claim the first set, 25-8

• The second saw Meyer and Siriban drive the offense for St. Joseph's L.I. with four and five kills, respectively, as again the Golden Eagles took a 2-0 match lead with a 25-14 win

• The Bears were able to record their highest point total in the third set but were unable to hold off the Golden Eagles who claimed set 3, 25-15

Notes

• The Golden Eagles tallied 42 kills compared to the Bears' 18

• SJLI recorded 41 assists as SJBK recorded just 15 assists 

• St. Joseph's L.I. had eight services aces while St. Joseph's Brooklyn had two service aces
