The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's soccer team opened up Skyline Conference play with an 11-0 win over Yeshiva University on Sunday afternoon.
Top performers
- Freshman Alyssa Schimmenti scored a pair of goals, her first as a Golden Eagle
- Senior Kayleigh Milton finished with two goals and an assist
- Senior keeper Madelyn Hunter recorded a shutout turning away the only shot she faced

How it happened
- The Golden Eagles scored early and often with Schimmenti's first goal of the day coming in the third minute of play
- St. Joseph's went on to score four more times in the first half to carry a 5-0 lead into the break
- Milton opened up the second half with back-to-back goals before four additional Golden Eagles scored for the 11-0 win
