Lady Eagles Make it Four Straight in Win Over Yeshiva

New York, N.Y. – The St. Joseph's Golden Eagles (17-11, Skyline 7-2) rolled over the Yeshiva Maccabees (3-13, Skyline 1-8) in a three set sweep on Wednesday night.  The Eagles have only dropped one set in their last four matches, all against Skyline Conference opponents. The late season run locked the Eagles into the Second Seed behind the undefeated Sage Gators, giving them a first round bye in the Skyline Conference Championship.

The Golden Eagles dominated all three sets, 25-15, 25-19, and 25-16. In each game, the Eagles got going early and never looked back. Julianne Tierney (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage) led the Eagles once again in assists, with 18. Heather Ferchland (Selden, N.Y./Centereach) had nine kills and Courtney Wickline (Medford, N.Y./Bellport) added nine digs.

On November 9th, St. Joseph's will host the winner of the Farmingdale State-Purchase first round matchup.
